@x1Heavy Don't quote me on this but I think they did some type of study of driving drunk vs driving tired. The results came out almost exactly the same. Inability to operate a motor vehicle.

 

I believe I've seen the same information. It is easy to see the correlation there.

 

Today I was almost 4 hours late to my receiver in Chicago. The receiver said we charging 4800 for being so late.

My reply well at least I did it safe and alive to see the bill.

You an O/O or company driver. If you are company, no problem, let your outfit and the consignee argue it out. However, if you are an O/O, and it is coming out of your own pocket, hold the load hostage until he changes his tune!
