There's a neat little android app called "Roadbreakers" that has helped me out more than once. It's kind of like Trucker Path except only for parking spots. It's got a lot of the out of the way gravel lots as well as the usual walmarts.
Lepton1, Mattflat362, alghazi and 1 other person Thank this. -
I could not recall the name. I will have to look it up and even now Im not sure if it's still there. Remember it's been years and I remember the place very well but not well enough to know it's name because for us we were very stressed about the particulars of Seattle and then coming back out over the pass in those days, that kind of stress tends to prevent remembering some things.
Climb out of seattle east dont go over the pass you will find it to the north side of the interstate in a patch of woods. It's the only one prior to the pass. -
Zero chance

Oil field traffic is dead! It seems like it came to a grinding hault. I am talking about electrical power substations...ya know....small fenced in transformers or whatever that stuff is......I have never ever seen anyone needing me to move.JPenn Thanks this. -

And they tried to get permits to increase the size of the parking lots and were denied by the local government.

I hate that area with a passion. Probably the worst area for trucking for me.
