Is the truck you are currently driving at the company yard and you are writing this at home? If yes and you want to work for the new place then just tell them you quit. Don't feel bad, it happens all the time. Yes you are leaving them in a pickle and it's a crappy thing to do but have they been crappy to you or stellar to you? I would say do a list of pros and cons on each side of the equation as the grass usually only appears greener on the other side and also the devil you know is often better than the one you don't. However, 800 more per week is $40,000 more a year .. so there's that .........

If you really want that new job don't accept the load and go to the new job. But whatever you do don't accept the load and then quit because you are quitting under dispatch. That way you may lose that new job before you even have it. Because some companies will put you quit under dispatch on your dac or on your verification when other companies ask did you work there. Make sure you take the truck back to the yard good luck on your decision.

Then enjoy your first day at the new job.

You might have a issue regarding quit under a load. You should have said the magic words I quit before dispatcher loaded you into the computer for the trip.

I reckon this is a first for me, asking about quit on the internet.

The current company I'm with is Ok to work with just the loads don't pay much I mean its percentage and all I make is 150 for a 652 mile trip I'd be better off running for the mile than percentage..
