It's funny how people do not figure in depreciation or replacement costs into their rates. Just hard cash costs.
Hey, I am making the payment, I am doing great.

extra money for running Cali. an promises don't make truck payments. Just saying.
-
You mean your drivers are treated bad. #### I'd go haul cans from the ports before that

Hey I just tuned in to this. You said your company takes 12% I would be interested if your willing to share lol I'm an o/o
-
So only the percentage matters? You enjoy all that 88 percent of garbage rates. I'll keep running at 75 percent of good rates.PeteyFixAll and Hurst Thank this.
-
Agreed,.. with out profitable rates,.. it could be 90% and you'd still go broke.
80% here and have the option to pick and choose the loads I want to do. 98% load board loads,.. so its a grab bag of mixed rates to choose from. Early bird gets the worm in most cases.
Hurstcodyhopkins and spyder7723 Thank this. -
ok you are all over the board with too many inconsistencies here.ramblingman Thanks this.

I believe it is time for me to pile on. You should charge 10% of any money over $2.00 a mile. If you have a Fuel Surcharge as part of the rate 100% of that should be passed on. Real Estate Brokers don't get a commission unless they reach the sellers and buyers price. Freight Brokers need to look out for the clients. And those clients are the truckers.

Actually the client is the person paying the shipping invoice.Oxbow Thanks this.

$3.00/mile for all miles. Their trucks, trailers, authority, fuel, tolls etc. Get those rates and they will be beating down your door
