When I was at Melton I was going 1200 miles a week but that was right before the collapse of the economy in 2008.
I been a way since December 2008.
And looking at going company. Because it cost the company money to let you sit.

When I was at Heartland back in 2001, my average for the nine months I endured there was 1725 per week. Pitiful.

-

Please someone tell me who butt to kiss at Prime to get all these miles all of you are claiming to get. I have been here a year and have never been late on a load, I am most of the time in top fuel MPG but not getting miles. Most my checks are 1,000 or less and I have only gone home 4 times in a year. If I had the miles I would be banking and very happy but I don't get them. I am just now at 80,000 miles for the year and started my lease December 3rd 2015.

Now this is the more typical Prime story I hear in the trenches.
See here is your problem. You go home four times a year. To make money on the lease purchase of many of the big companies you'll have to cut that to one!123456 Thanks this. -
When I got home it's pulling in one morning and leaving the next night, not much more then a 34 hr reset.
Not sure how going home 12 days in a year impactstarted the amount of miles I get. -
Plenty of people on here say run less miles at a higher rate
Do you know what your operating costs are ?
Do you have a good relationship with your FM ?
Does your FM know your operating costs ?
Your FM is your business partner, have you considered working with another FM ?redoctober83 Thanks this. -
You're a lease op so you shouldn't be looking at miles, is all about high revenue low miles. That's the mentality of a company driver not a business owner. What's your gross revenue so far for the year so far?BigSky Thanks this.
