    From what I understand, the Google cars in San Francisco area follow maps. It will be a long time before they map the whole country. Furthermore, some Google cars have been in accidents. I'm not fearing unemployment just yet.

    Ya, 1 death in 1.5 million miles is huge. And that mileage is just Google's car, not the others included in that.

    Autonomous trucks? Just people trying to get extra money from governments.
    Neither automaker could answer on 1 simply question.
    Car driving on highway 70-75 as usual . Suddenly kid jumping out in front of car. On both sides electrical poles . What should robot have to do? Drive car into pole with driver , and trying to save kid but kill driver, or killing kid and let driver live. Don't forget driver did not do anything wrong...
