Why do people always say "welcome to the real world" When a driver posts a complaint about a company? As though he were somehow previously not a part of the "real world"

I don't care how much experience you have or how much forewarning you have about a company, anyone can make what they think is an informed decision about a company and then it's a whole new ball game once you get there. You obviously chose to check out the company by asking around. Good for you. And I'm sure you were part of the real world when you chose to go there. It can happen to the best of us. Life is a journey and a growing process and mistakes are necessary for growth. So you learned a valuable lesson about TMC and the ol "bait n switch" good luck to you on your new job

I work for TMZ when the son was running the company... He was pushing operations so much to try to spit out as many loads as possible to Pat his fat pocket their accident rate went through the roof and finally Harold decided enough was enough and put him to the curb... Ever since that has happened from what I've heard the company has gotten a lot better and now it's employee-owned... I guess the body shop Bills Harold got tired of paying for

Since Harold still had controlling interest in the company, he was within his rights to push out whoever he wanted. The boy that was managing the company was demoted over to working in the shop as parts procurement manager. Least that's the story i was told

Almost five years experience has taught me that getting on a new dispatchers fleet is bad news. I've always heard TMC was a good place to start.

Glad to hear that. It means at least one person still cares.

You seriously cracked me up. You need to go to Hollywood with an imagination like that. My stomach hurts from laughing too hard.
