    A criminal misdemeanor? Hummmm, that must be an Arizona thing, I don't think I ever heard of that, but.......

    In my past experience, its either a misdemeanor offence or its criminal offence. However, I have been wrong before.

    We have photo radar everywhere as well. You better just stay in California. Imagine the judge looking at your picture with no seatbelt on lol.

    I was have tightness in my chest so it makes wearing the seat belt uncomfortable but I have learned my lesson it stays on all the time now.

    Seatbelt is absolutely a law.

    If you have it on, you are fine. If you DO NOT have it on, they are gonna burn you. Criminal? Sure if they are so inclined.

    For what's it's worth, Arkansas just made it open season for anyone in regular cars too to click it or ticket, the police now have lawful support from the statehouse to go ahead and make a stop against you on the highway if they see you are not wearing a belt. In the past they were not supposed to do that.

    Im going to support Trooper/Trucker on this.

    Anytime you have tightness in chest, GET YOURSELF to the ER. They can run tests that might save your life. There is a variety of medical emergencies that can manifest with a tight chest for you. Some are quite dangerous and others are very lethal quickly. You do NOT want to die at 70 mph in a 40 ton vehicle under cruise control.
