    Thx!
I've been looking around but I found mostly too large for pick up trucks.

Ummmmm, don;t know so I'm not throwing rocks or anything, but having your passenger window obstructed is kinda, sorta illegal, no?
I'd love to put a generator in my truck and let it run a heating / cooling unit. I'd appreciate any guidance.

Yea, how does that guy see down the right side with the passenger window gone? I need to take a look at the pic again and see where the mirrors are.

He doesn't drive with the AC in the window. He puts it in and takes it out when needed.

Want to say something snotty about your post, but will save it. The unit is not permanently mounted in the door window. I find it hard to believe you even asked that question. You actually thought the A/C unit resided in the door window permanently? I remove the A/C unit, then the frame it is mounted in before operating the truck. And then your buddy chimes in with the same nonsensical type of comment. And we wonder why it is hard to get good help nowadays.

That would work. I just didn't want to hack up the back of the sleeper. This window setup is easy to install when I stop, and easy to remove before starting my day. Sure, it does take up some bunk space, but then, I am not in the bunk when I am working. I suppose some might be.
