My mom lives out there (and I love it there myself) so I have a vested interest in everything Phoenix. My phone weather app was going off every 10 minutes with a new severe thunderstorm warning, and once, even a tornado warning, which wasn't too far from your location.

Was it really that bad out there? The radar presentation made it appear to be...

Do you have that #### Red Cross app? I got rid of it. It doesn't track your current location. MyRadar tracks your location and gives alarms if weather is coming in. Turn on the wind layer and you can not only see the precipitation you can see it relative to wind. Kind of a shocker to realize clouds and precipitation often travel INTO the wind.

We got some good rain and a little wind, nothing too serious.
We were at a restaurant last night and 5 people around us had their phones go off with a weather alert. It sounded like the fire alarm went off!

I'm not sure about that. 100 degrees with 10% humidity is more comfortable than 90 degrees with 70% humidity. I noticed the northerners all leave by late April. In the winter I see at least 40 cars a day with Canadian plates. To me that's cheating, if you're going to enjoy Florida for the winter weather you also need to do some some sweating in the summer!

High temps have returned for the forseeable future ( 110 + ).
111 yesterday, storm system, low is history.
Recommend check your tires before passing through the morning you know your coming, or you may become just another person we have to move over for while your getting your new tire in the E lane.
