Failed class A test 6 times

Give the trooper 300 when its your turn bring some doughnuts and coffee

 

There were a couple in my class that got more than 2 chances.

 

Well was 11 years ago for me lol. I failed both the first time around. They asked if I wanted more training, I said nope let's just do it. Passed.
First time on the drive I rolled through a red light making the left turn to go across the Highway when you leave. First time on the obstacle I bumped the van.
They sent me to a school in Indiana to get my license. That's where I tested to get my CDL. Don't know if the guy was a trooper, but he was some official from DOT, so I guess he was.

I will say one thing for CRE, they have some smokin' hot women. They had an excellent program classroom wise as well, you did learn about OTR trucking. I had a really good trainer as well. The guy I had to ride second seat with for 3 weeks was a moron though, that part sucked. Then when I leased a truck, I figured out you needed to team to make any money. They were sending me madman team loads as a solo, and I made some very good money, but I couldn't keep doing that, way to hard on the body, and it was just a matter of time before I got caught. So did 3 months, and went to JBHunt, lived mostly happily ever after lol.

 

Legend has it at Prime, one guy needed 14 chances before he finally passed his test.... He must've been a really likeable person to get that many chances.

 

Is this the guy?

 

Sounds like one of two things. Your school really sucked at their job, it this line of work may not be for you. If it's the former, the school should let you practice until you have it nailed.

That makes no sense

 

In SLC all the testers are third-party testers who are also employed full-time as instructors at the school. The pass rate is quite high. Lol
