Does the the company put you in hotels every night . Driver on the YouTube said it's a slip seat operation was wondering is that for certain terminals? . Called human resources and young lady said they need drivers on Birmingham and Mississippi .Also how much are these guys bringing down a year 80 k. . From their website and YouTube videos the company and atmosphere seems pretty cool.

Hello Apollo - I am the Sr. Human Resources Manager for US AutoLogistics. I would be happy to answer your questions! We just changed our per mile top rate from 63 cpm to 71 cpm. We pay all miles loaded or unloaded, plus skid, breakdown, and yes, backhaul pays at significantly more (sometimes 3x more than front haul pay). That is not all, drivers get pay for performance and get paid an annual bonus paid based on productivity, safety and damage free record. There is no secret that if you hustle, and do it right, you get paid more. We try to get guys and gals home some time during the week but most drivers are home every weekend. We have a great benefits package, PTO, vacation and wellness discounts. We try to do everything we can to put money in your pocket. Average driver pay is $92k. I would be more than happy to talk to you or anybody that is interested in car-hauling. We have a comprehensive 5 week training program and will not pull the net from under you until you are ready. I have been in the trucking industry a long time, I feel good about telling you that what you see is what you get. This is a great driving job and drivers just don't leave. If they do, they come back for the most part. Call our recruiting line and ask for Rose, I will answer your questions.

How would living in Ft worth work for someone wanting to haul for gulf states Toyota.

I worked several years for gst in the DFW area in sales management. I really enjoyed my time with the company.

I know the two have no relation at all, but I got into trucking with the goal of running cars for gst.

Dallas is a good area. Call a recruiter in Houston. They will get your process started. If you don't have carhaul experience it will take a few weeks to get in. It's no longer GST it's now (USAL) US Auto Logistics. .....

I understand that I will need training. I could not imagine doing the job without it.

Is it too early for me to start the process?? I'm only at the 8 mnth mark driving.

I am on a 5 state regional dedicated account. I have been backing a 53-58 foot trailer 2-6 times 5 nights a week in some of the craziest shopping mall landscapes you imagine.

I actually like my job, but I feel ready to love this job with a much larger paycheck!

As much as I'd like to say yes. You will actually need two solid years before they would consider you. Just look at it as a challenge. Get your two years and give them a call.

    MM3Deg Thanks this.

West Point is a definite yes. You will be based out of Birmingham. West Point has drivers but only a few. Detroit on the other hand will not be in our hiring area. However we do hit Teledo,Oh. But, I'm pretty sure that Detroit would be a no. Wouldn't hurt to call anyway.
