I understand they allow more weight, now 90 foot before you need a escort and this reads 24/7 running.

Wow, surprised to see they are actually making it more friendly.
-
I figure more and more of them will be going to night moves.
"Working on the night moves..."Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I wonder how that affects anual permits dated before this. Sure would save alot of $$$ not having to hire a pilot car for my length.
-
No help for me unless they lower the ton/mi charge
Always over 165k and never under 90'
Sadness -
Aw- hell that's out of your operating area anyways.johndeere4020 Thanks this.

That's right on the edge - I was in W Memphis a week ago Monday . But you're right suspiciously close to Ohio.
When are coming out west to my operating area?johndeere4020 Thanks this. -
Um probably never! Unless they Start a pipeline job.

This actually works in my favor most of the time. Most of our super heavy moves are really short (our last move was 300K and 2 miles from rail to plant). I can understand how it would really add up though going all the way across the state though, especially from Memphis to Bristol.
TN has been slowly making a move to be more friendly to all sorts of commerce. It seems to be working too with all the new manufacturing jobs cropping up.macavoy Thanks this. -
Am I reading this correct, our normal load dims are under 12ft wide and under 140,000 and 78ft long can be ran 24/7 ?
