    I think it would be a cool gig....although I dump trucked in to our dump many times and it beats you up.

    But man with these new robot trucks and if the money is right hell yea!

    you only get the weekend off if there is no holiday during the week. otherwise, the trash gets picked up the next day, and YOU ARE working a full day on Saturday, and off Sunday, and back to work Monday.

    i did that as well with BFI when i was younger

    go up on top of the garbage pile, and everyday, it is windy up there...nearly all chances of "getting juiced" happens...

    the juices from that smelly garbage, the maggots in your shirt pockets, yep..he's in heaven alright....

    Yes you are correct. But in my line of business we catch up in 4 days typically and the sat make up is usually optional for me.
