Yes that's the name. We're now 25 hours and counting waiting to pick up a load of onions. Same 2 trucks have been in the dock for over 15 hours and a dozen of us waiting and waiting. Of all the lousy produce sheds I've encountered in my career, looks like we have a new champion of crap. The first and last time I'll be here...

Produce is never worth the wait . For the money
DTP Thanks this. -
No it sure isn't. I moved to a lane where I just deliver the crap another driver brings in from the west. This week I figured I'd take the miles and do something different. It won't happen again.

I am sure this doesn't mean anything to you at the moment, but thank you for your sacrifice......I love me some onions.strollinruss Thanks this.

There not much else out there to haul. We deadhead out of that area whenever I dare to runout there.

Not trying to defend the shed....BUT.....do they have ANY product to load....typically long waits are due to lack of product.....jus wondering.....
hunted Thanks this. -
Yeah I snuck in there and they had product everywhere plus I think I saw probably a dozen field trucks bring in more as I was there. Just a ####### place IMO. I don't think product shortage had anything to do with it, they weren't working on anybody it wasn't just my load. And onions don't really have to be cooled down like berries, citrus, etc so can't use the excuse they were in the cooler either

That sux......been runnin produce my whole life....jus hopin there was a reasonable explanation......best of luck to you

My happy fat arse would of been gone a long time ago if no pay‘Olhand Thanks this. -
Yes. Know the place!! Started with way turned out to be a "sorry" company: "Triple D Supply", out of Las Cruces, N.M. My first load/p.u. was at that onion farm. Arrived 10 a.m. Didn't get loaded till 10:30 p.m. Then dispatch expected me to run through night, even though elog had me signed in, since 9 a.m. that morning. Elogs (violations thereof), meant/means, nothing to these sorry sort of companys. Then. Brocker, as well as company states, "no detention pay", on these sort of produce loads! I'm "ole school". Came up driving c.o.e. tractors, baby fans in dash (air conditioner, etc), paper logs....., But. No one, wants to sit hours on hours, receive no sort of compensation, and then be told to haul through the night. I guess if they had to pay detention, they'd be in a "pickle"....,
