    I guess my question is" If you hire on with a company for a dedicated run, and the shipper that you are hauling for decides to stop the run, What happens to the driver?" do you fade to black or does the company try to put you elsewhere?

    From what i have read on here the company will give you something else unless that isn't what you want

    That's happened to me before and they just told me it's 48 and Canada or Midwest Regional.

    I think in most cases, the company will try to find a place to put you. In my situation, SNI doesnt hire out in my state because freight just moves through it...however if my account closed or whatever, Im sure they would allow me to go OTR and just stop home on my way across the state.
