Ca-17 south of San Jose going to 1 to watsonville a good route?

Also, 156 and 152 from salinas (from us-101) over to i-5 is this a good way for trucks 75' long?

17 over the hill is good road but a pain during traffic hours.

the other route is the standard route from the coast to the 5.

Yes. 17 to 1 south through santa cruz brah to 129 watsonville. Going to a berry cooler there? Driscolls? Salinas north to 156/152. Stop at casa de Fruta before going over Pacheco pass. Check your brakes at the top and hold your nose (smells like pee). Get off at 33 in santa nella, grab a burger at in and out. It'll be the only one in california that isn't crowded. 5 north is fine but can get heavy through stockton and Sacramento. 5 south.... Nothing but trucks and the nothingness until you get close to the grapevine. Welcome to california. Most people on this board hate it but this is where I do my trucking. Enjoy the 5-it's scenic and zero traffic. 17 is cool during non rush hour times.

5 needs some work. That was a bumpy SOB, this last winter. Never remember that many holes in it.
