I'm looking to get some info on Deckers flatbed division. How many miles are you getting? How do you like the company? I've been searching trying to just get opinions on their flatbed division and just can not seem to find much on them. I've talked to a recruiter. And they have gave me the green light to come up for orientation. I just want to hear some opinions from current or previous drivers. Thanks in advance!

I'm in the same boat but I'm from Alabama trying to find out info on their flatbed division in Bessemer al. They say it's $.40 cpm with $.1 increase every 3 months. They didn't give me mileage just I can be home every weekend or work 10 days and home every other weekend. They hire right out of school which is a plus for me.
-
The recruiter Ive been talking to said drives are getting around 2500 miles a week. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that there isn't much info on them floating around.

I
guess it's good when u Figure in stop pay and tarp pay. -
I drive for decker out of the Bessemer terminal in Alabama. I came straight out of school and have been solo from training the last 4 weeks. I've been averaging between 2200-2800 miles

Cool bro I'm starting CDL school in August! They told me to apply to them my Second week in school so they can get the ball rolling. How's home time I see they offer home every weekend or every other weekend, and what's the pay like
-
If you live in the Midwest you're home every weekend. For us in the south it's every other weekend. And the pay has been decent. Especially considering the fact that I haven't been driving that long. I'd say expect to net between 650-900 a week at $.40 a mile. I've only had one really bad check but that was because of a situation at home, not decker.

Cool bro thanks I think decker is where I'm going to start at. What part of Alabama u from

I actually live in North Carolina. But I was born in Dothan. And yeah man they're not bad. They have their issues just like any company but they're not listed with the worst. Everything my recruiter told me over the phone was true

Oh ok I'm actually about 20 mins from Bessemer I was hoping to be home every weekend every other isn't bad. They said I would go out with a trainer for four weeks once I get out of school. I'm just hoping to make Atleast $800 a wk bring home and I'm good. I don't have a ton of bills at home so that would put me right where I need to be
