Where are you out of? As far as pay, out of Charlotte, they told me a bunch of bull about how "only my dbl can access this because the spreadsheet that shows all the pay structures for everyone is too complicated to print out. So for my particular situation go to dbl"

Dbl will answer questions about my specific pay questions. But as @Thull, won't send me anything concrete. It's all word of mouth

    Thull Thanks this.

Crossroads isn't concrete, I just looked. The other ocs should be giving this info out, it's the extra for unloading, detention, layover, break down, short haul pay (added mileage rate and extra for final delivery.)

Well, being bulk if u stop the per deim once u see a few pay checks without the perdeim you will being looking for another company. I do some fairly good runs, but if it wasn't for the weekly perdeim added to my check I would be extremely a@@ed up.....one year experience baby and on to the next or buy a cheap truck....

I got out of the per diem after only one month. I found it pretty funny that Schneider was charging me $.02 per mile to use MY money to get themselves tax breaks not to mention I would be the one to suffer if I ever needed workmans comp.

    driverdriver and Friday Thank this.

get out of per diem asap.

You are paying Schneider for a service, figuring out per diem for your income taxes (that portion is tax exempt). They are charging YOU $.02 per mile for this service. If you drive 2,000 miles/week for 48 weeks that works out to $1,920/year for this tax service. How much do you think a tax professional would charge, assuming you can't figure it out on your own?

milehunter43, Friday and Thull Thank this.
