You know what this moron told me last on a similar load I refused. He said so you only want good loads ?
I was thinking WTF ? You haven't offered me a good load in over 2 yrs. Then he says I'm just kidding and I said I'm not.

We have both our trucks sitting nearly two weeks now , at this rate if you have truck payments they will force you out of business. -
Well seems like autotransport.com do not pay carriers anymore just because they are not paid by the carmax. Well if is the truth so shortly UR and RPM or whatever carmax has a signed contract right now will be doing the same. So i guess we got to keep an eye on all Carmax loads wherever they come from as they are likely not to be paid for
. Just came after a 1 of holiday - 1/5 of the loads just gone of the board the and the left ones are cheap as **** .. All decent pay loads are miles of the main routes...

Autotransport.com issues have been going on for more than 2 months now. So their sudden realization that Carmax had not paid them sounds kind of bogus.
Cannot speak for RPM as have never done any work for them. Though most of their dispatch crew came from United Road. Have no idea who owns it or who the investors are.
As far as United Road goes, the rates they are posting are cheap. But then again, Carmax was shopping for lower transport rates. If the cars do not move & Carmax realizes they are losing sales because cars are not available to a customer, the rates will have to go back up. So note to moron transporters working for nothing, knock that crap off.
As far as paying bills, this is an old story but know UR paid transport invoices for loads moved from a mfg co that went out of business. Well over $80,000 lost at the end of that deal, but all transport co's who moved the units were paid.Last edited: Jul 20, 2016
Viceroy1, Dominion Transportation, KANSAS TRANSIT and 2 others Thank this. -
I guess carmax did not find that "golden middle" yet as autotransport.com were swaped over other brokers now just because of lower rates (just my opinion). SO most of the brokers would go down and down on price until they agree to the customer, but then there is a question if the job will be done. Well will see
So autotransport.com were to expensive for carmax but at least the cars were moved. NOw we will have to move them for pennies or not to move them at all. Second idea is much better tho
-
I vote for not moving them at all.
Also, @LBZ what was this about UR paying out 80 grand? -
I whole heartedly agree Driver. Cut Bob out & you deal directly with the man with the money in hand.sxdime Thanks this.

I read in this discussion that Autotransport.com is not with Carmax anymore? How do you know?
Thank you -
Because carmax rebid contracts and United road took most or all of what autotransport had. And i received an email from u.r. saying they had carmax loads
Terry270 Thanks this.
