Imagine that, you pay them for a monthly service and they stick it in your arse. If a shipper wants to know about the carrier's safety rating they are going to use let them look up the CSA score. Those 2 minor violations shouldn't warrant a C rating. The seat belt one shouldn't even be of anyone's concern. If it were an issue regarding service that's another thing. And they don't make the grade available to the carrier?

Improper load securement is not a minor violation.

If ITS is making it difficult to book loads, why use them? I use 123Loadboard and Truckloads (by Trucker's Path). Never had a problem. Maybe the brokers subscribe to the ITS information and you can't bypass it with another load board, but it's worth a shot.

I know they have their own system. What you are not understanding is that you did this to yourself. You want to blame others. This system is a combination of your CSA and basically reviews of your services. You review brokers and rate their services in various places. Can you not really see it or is it that you just have not found it?

If a broker(or carrier)files a report with ITS, the other party gets a copy and the chance to state their side of it. If you don't respond the report stands. About the only way to get a "C" rating from just CSA scores is to have a conditional rating with FMCSA.

So I just found out the reason I have a C grade. Because there is no data reported on my record.
Now tell me that's a fair grading system?

How long have you been at the load board game? Maybe it might help to work the system at ITS, and hopefully some forum members have experience with this and can chime in.

Find out how you get data in your record. Is it from shippers, receivers, or brokers reporting positive or negative reviews? If so, then every time you pull a load ask them to post a review.
