I have a Pete 379 with a drop visor. Does anyone have issues with GPS receiving signal with a drop visor? I don't want to buy and external antenna if I don't have to.

So they are going to release the GPS to the google play store ? -
Not to my knowledge. But then again I would not be told of such things ahead of time. They make their own pre-bundled Android tablets. I think that trying to release the multiple interacting apps that come on that would be a multi-device nightmare from a programming standpoint to the general app store. But, again, that is just my speculation to be clear.jtaran06 Thanks this.

Do you have to buy a new copilot license every year? -
It's a one time fee
-
No. As snowy said, it's a one-time payment. You can get the traffic add-on that is a subscription but I don't use it. Just the mapping part. I want to say I've gotten 2 updates since I purchased mine. It tells me in the Google Play Store that I have an update available (I don't have it set to auto download) and I download it. No fee, nothing. Easy-peasy.

But, how could you use it while driving? What about the long trips?

Thanks. When I looked in Google Play I thought it said $99 for a 12-mo license
