What'd the FMSCA get on sleep apnea? 700 comments out of millions of drivers.
And I am an OOIDA member

How many would there have been if there no OOIDA members fill out survey?

Again anybody know of a organization fighting for truckers right besides them I can join. Ive email Senators, Congressmen, Governors, State Representatives on my own. There are issues that Ive had, be it trucking, or personal felling toward city, state, country. Do i move because some of my wants were not addresses or went completely against my wishes? No. Would I want to stop paying taxes and stop voting to change or correct it. Well yes but No.

    Thank you.

GPS by lat long is awfully precise. I once did a circle inside the Tropicana Street 76 in Las Vegas for lining on fuel line and my gps laptop made a circle on the map.

When they bind your truck to eLogs like that the industry might as well roll over, 11 hours stop driving. Even if you are 8 miles from the customer.

Ive driven over my 11 and my 14 several times. Mostly because I'm looking for a place to park. Never once have i gotten a ticket or even a slap in the wrist for it. I send a message stating the reason why. If I'm 8 miles from a receiver and I'm out of hours, i will roll on till I'm there. And i will cite the lack of safe parking.

I hit a lot of construction and accidents today from Wisconsin to Ohio today and it really hurt my 70 hours,
I sent dispatch a message about it and they changed my delivery in PA from Thursday to Friday.
Big deal, I deliver safe and legal a day later,

Sure. In my day you did not expect safe parking below Scranton PA until at least Petersburg in VA so.. I would bust the 10 hour limit and keep going. Worry the logs later tomorrow. Since I did tomorrows driving already the previous overnight... I had the option to sleep in a while and get laundry done etc until the paper caught up with me.

The question is, what happened to all the drivers that support OOIDA and did not do the survey? I have nothing to do with OOIDA, yet I responded to the FMCSA request for comments. I did on ELD's also and many other comment periods on various issues as they came up. 700 total driver's comments and many of them not even affiliated with OOIDA. That is some organized group of truckers over there at OOIDA. This is one example of why I don't waste any time with OOIDA. All hat and no cattle.

Ok im not trying to be a advocate for OOIDA. And i have asked if anyone knew of a organization that supported the trucking industry more? Or do you wanna just battle the Eld's. On your own?
