Thank you sir.
I can see the gps feature being good and bad. Say your'e going 56 in a 55 and something happens that is not your fault. Seems like it would be good ammo for a dirt bag big truck hater lawyer.

I know this is an old thread but I will be getting my own truck before to long and was wondering if anybody is running any of the new HD stuff from DieselBoss??
-
Is there something specific you would like me to expound upon? Are you referring to a single-cam in the windshield type of thing? Or are you referring to multi-cam 360 HD type of thing?
Don from DieselBoss -
Thanks Don. Nothing specific yet. Just looking to see if anybody has used one of the HD setups yet that could maybe compare it to the SD systems you had out before. I would like to do a mulit cam system. So a rear facing cam on each side and one forward out the windshield. Im sure the more I look into them I will probably have some more questions and will send you a PM.

I have had 5 different kinds in 7 years, and my experience is that they are unreliable and disposable. The Rand McNally 300 did not work out of the box, and their customer disservice department was awful. The Garmin 45 worked for a year, ditto the Top Dawg. The Cobra I'm running now is a POS, I have to remember to check whether booted every time I start the engine. Can't remember the other brand, but it was underwhelming. Still looking for a good one.
