The new Loves on 55 in Arkansas should be opening soon also. It has an IHop in it at least.

They opened one at Searcy AR as well off the 67. That is the main St Louis Chicago bound road for all points south and west USA.

It's not a truckstop anymore imho. Im not trying to pick a fight. But it seems corporate is trying to bury what I consider a proper truckstop these days in the name of the almighty inflated dollar.

 

Searcy Loves is a great place to park after dropping at Walmart, maybe if a mom and pop truck stop knew how to make a pot of coffee that didn't taste like a dirty dish rag, or learned how to clean the restrooms,I'd stop at one of them.

 

I hear you. I cannot help you on coffee. There is a ORR dealership down a dead end road you might get good coffee at but it's not worth nosing into that road just for that. They prohibit trucks there anyhow. The closest to coffee would be the Petro in Little Rock. We go there sometimes to remember what we once were and never to forget.

Further south and west also pine bluff is even worse actually somewhat depressing because I came from Maryland which had a number of world class stops I called home stops then. But Arkansas is my forever home, so... *Shrugs.

 

There's a new Loves under construction on I-10 exit 28 in Mississippi which is the Pass Christian exit west of Gulfport.

There's already three drivers waiting for a shower to be cleaned. ..

 

One being built in Queen City, TX on 59 couple miles past the northbound scale.
