Status Transportation Corporation

I have had some brokers discuss price of load. Most brokers don't because that's the brokers policy. The brokers that have done that, which is rare, the price they tell me match the rate sheets. I get all the rate sheets from Status Transportation. No other company I worked for before has ever done that.

 

This is true. I always received the rate confirmation. However the actual rate is set before that would get to you. It is in the best interests of the office to get as much as possible so by the time you get it there isn't much point in discussing rate with the broker as it is a done deal.

 

This is also true. The owner lied to my face about having his own contracts in 2012. This was right after he told me you could earn $8,000 a week pulling a dry van. He was actually irritated with me asking. It was funny. I was very suspicious and on defensive from that point on. Lies affect me that way. That would have been about 1 month in.
In approximately 1.25 years I never pulled a single solitary private contract load. They were just working the boards.
The place I am leased to now is only 15%, the loads are planned like clockwork days in advance, zero lies, they really do have their own contracts with a variety of shippers and the words 'mystery fees' aren't in their vocabulary.
Took 4 years and experiences like Status but finally found a decent place to lease to.

Just because a owner operator runs his are her company dose not mean you can keep evildoers from cutting off the top of your money while they deal with the brokers.And the many of drivers they have robbed of there retanage after they leave.Which is $1500.00 per driver.GOD don't like evil.That's why they don't grow as a company.There evil my warning to all Owner Operator's is don't waste your time are get your family robbed bye theses evildoers.
