And some folks come on here essentially trolling because they've only been on here a handful of times in several years so when they all the sudden appear out of nowhere and start making comments to people that they are wrong and they are always right...really makes them look like a troll
PoleCrusher Thanks this. -
You watch..it wont be long before the industry kills gliders.
I bet there's something coming down the pipeline that's changing the emissions to 2010 or newer.
SNI being a MEGA carrier is in the know about alot of the regs we live under.
Hell they CAUSE alot of it.
All you glider guys get ready to retrofit your rides or be out of business..Opus, PoleCrusher, TennMan and 1 other person Thank this. -
I don't feed trolls so I'm going to pretend I didn't see this.

If the government does ban gliders it'll be the new manufacturing of them. They'll rely of regular attrition like they have done in the past when new emmisions requirements were created. When they started requiring egr's, they didn't say non egr trucks had to go and they didn't do that with dpf's either. So to answer your question, I'm not concerned that I'll have to quit running my truck, just that it'll become more valuable, lol

Thanks for all of the replies and info .
I have new questions.
I've been told that once I buy the truck I have to get a plate on it and fill out the 2290 before orientation. Does it matter what state the plate is from?
I can get insurance through Schneider and get that done during orientation correct? But do I need insurance just to drive it from home to orientation?
I live in PA and I will be doing my orientation in Charlotte. I am thinking about getting a rental car to Charlotte, buying my truck there, do all the paperwork and get my plate and then hanging out until orientation starts. -
Anyone have experience buying a truck from a dealer? Is the price a bit negotiable like it is when buying a car? Would want to talk them down a little to save some money.
