    That's because that's the correct way to do it. Not hire 3 drivers and send them down for drug screens. You find contracts, then buy equipment, and hire drivers.

    I'm not going to add a lot to this but the one thing people seem to overlook, insurance, specifically cargo insurance does not pay for driver stupidity. If your hauling a load and your driver freezes a load of produce or some such scenario you, the business will pay for all the claim out of your pocket.

    So my take-away from that would be - drivers are far and above your most valuable asset and your largest liability. Hire the wrong one and find yourself with a $50k+ claim that comes out of your pocket before you ever get paid on the first invoice.
