You just targeted the wrong area. Just move to Phoenix. Weather forecast in summer = Sunny & REALLY HOT / Fall & Spring = Sunny & Hot / Winter = Sunny & Warm lol.

Oh gosh no! I'm not moving to the desert! Hot and Dry - You can keep it all to yourself, sir! I hated ever single time I had to drive through it. I could not live there, I'd blow my brains out to make it stop!

It's not unlike the north in the winter. We stay in and become nocturnal in the summer. There are always people that think they are supermen and die or have to be rescued in many of the national parks. Think 6 have died in the last few months on our local peaks, usually people in their late 20s or early 30s, supermen. We have ' stupid ' laws, in which the local authorities cite people for driving into flooded washes, under flooded over passes, or hiking when its so hot, they are then obliged to pay for the cost of their rescue lol. I know they warn everyone on the Wilson / Thunder Mountain Trail in Sedona. That's my personal physical fitness test to see how I'm aging. It's like 13 miles or so. $10K if they have to come and get you lmao.

Heavy fleece coat, long under wear, same as everyone else.
These were this last winter, before I had to go local. The one is International Falls, MN in early February, was like minus 12.

That's IF,MN. Think it's Weyerhaeuser, the one where you either turn into Weyerhaeuser cause it's the last driveway or you F up bad, and you're crossing into Canada.
Cold and snow is for rookies, the Kalahari type conditions are where it's at.

F that. I'm too old & decrepit for all that. Was like -18 in Ft. Bridger one night. I thought about getting a shower and sleeping in there cause it was nice & toasty, truck never gets cold, it's when you open the door.........

If you have common sense, you sit by the fire and sip hot toddies! If you don't have any sense, you go outside to play. Or work.:D
