What year? I have an 06 C-15 acert with 1.3mil on it been pretty dependable. Uses a gallon of oil abt 18k and no antifreeze. Some early bridge motors and the later cat like after 08 had problems.

03 bridge motor C15 here. Unbridged. Got it with 750,000 inframed at 1,100,000 currently 1,340,000 It's had a new fan clutch and one of the pac brake springs broke a few years ago. Those are the failures other than when it went down before the inframe. But it still drove all the way home even then.

Before the inframe it would burn about a half gallon to gallon of oil between 12,000 mile intervals. Since being inframed it burns through 1 to 2 gallons between intervals. That would be my only complaint is the oil consumption. I've read CAT does a poor job getting the ring gaps right on the liner packs they put together as a culprit there. So any CAT out there that's been inframed might burn some oil.

Same here. 06 c13 ACERT. Inframed 2012. 2 waterpumps, 1 thermostat and front structure done on warranty since rebuild.
Downside: oilcooler lasts about 3 years. Top up about 2.5 gallon of oil on 25000 mls interval. KCB is known for it.
Very reliable, NEVER been anywhere close to a hook. If you don't race it, you can get decent mileage.
