I honestly believe that the main reason for the "dumbing down" of the human race, is all the bleeding heart safetycrats forcing the issue of making machines that are so much safer. Yeah, I don't like to see blood, guts and carnage any more than anybody else.
But if people suffered the consequences of their actions, the "thinning of the herd" via "natural selection" would make for a more intelligent populace.

 

It's not the human race, it's here in the U.S..

 

I mean we have signs and billboards telling children they need to play.
When children need to be told to play, what other wake up call is needed?

Except he only has to post $100,000. If he is a homeowner it should be doable, unless he's already mortgaged up to his ying-yang. This 10% bail posting is stupid! If the suspect only has to post 10%, then just lower the bail and scratch the 10%.
This high bail has only come about by lawmakers trying to look tough on crime, when it suits their campaigns. But the 10% came about by the same bunch of politicos trying to appease the offenders and their cohorts.

Well, I'm a firm believer in "natural selection." If all the idiots would die, then they wouldn't be around to procreate. Perhaps in a few generations, the gene pool would cleanse itself.
