I'm in let me know the day and time I will do my best to get there. There are some good points made here already. I would like to get on another load board also, better det time and if we make it more then half way to a customer and they cancel the load we should get some pay for that also.
TennMan and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
I know this is a stretch but I think it would be cool if we could relay good loads that have too much time on them like company trucks do without being fined. LOL.
-
.6 is a big one. I'm sick and tired of having to grab my calculator and double check miles for every load I look at. So many of them are a whopping 50 miles off.
-
I agree with the put it on paper and everybody sign. Then have a sit down to discuss the list. FW's list is pretty good but I would want include the issue of not allowing gliders. I think they should be allowed until govt says otherwise. Running California isn't in my business plan anyway.
RStewart Thanks this. -
If they just changed it to outlaw gliders I'd guess it would be tough to have them change it back right away.
Maybe they know something we dont or maybe they just want to lease more trucks rather than people bring on gliders lol. -
They could do something about the Cs problems... Consistently putting wrong information on loads like pickup times and putting putting wrong information like drop and hook when it's a live unload or load and vice versa... and the issue of showing up to pick up a load that was supposed to been pre-loaded and they didn't have no trailers because they said I failed to get them any trailers... Can't keep pissing off his customers in order to keep the freight
RStewart, tazman74, TennMan and 1 other person Thank this. -
Drivers that have a truck lease have to run more load to make ends meet. Which makes Schneider more money plus the income they get from the lease. I'm not sure of their motives but i think it crosses the line into employees control.

I think they're just trying to get ahead of the impending legislation. When it does happen if they allowed gliders, you'd have IC's everywhere that wouldn't be legal. Would be a mess they probably don't want to deal with.
-
I also think they need to make it a bit more harder to get onto this program because I run across too many drivers here that said they wanted to come and I see because they can pick the loads and run fast... Not realizing that it's a bit more work than that... I've also seen it from many company drivers who want to become IC water run as many miles as possible and by having that mentality they don't care if the freight is paying $0.80 a mile 400 miles they see that number and they think it's great the gross rate that is which in turn ultimately affects all of us because as long as they're willing to haul that stuff dollar a mile Freight it's never going to go away as far as the amount of it on the board that isLast edited: Aug 10, 2016
