I'd like to see what everyone idea on battery replacement is. Do you only replace the bad batteries or all the batteries. I use a carbon pile tester to test batteries. What is the community consensus.

So you go ahead a replace them all at a time no matter if one or two might be good.

A group of batteries is only as good as the weakest one. Unless the batteries are only a month or 2 old and one was defective, I'd say change them all.

What are you doing? What are you really asking?
One truck running the road change them all. Local yocal or have a 6 month old battery fail maybe just one.
Like to put batteries in otr trucks in sets and good used batteries together in the dogs and city trucks.

I kinda like putting in all new batteries as well. Just thinking what y'all thoughs on changing only the bad ones, I always test all my batteries individually.

A few months back my trk had battery "issues ".
2 were junk , thee other 2 had a little life left .
Replaced 2 , ended up replacing thee other two a month later .
Lesson learned ~ when one goes thee others arent far behind , save a trip to the shop and have them all replaced.
Note ~ batteries were 3 + years old so not a total surprise .

Road Killer and bzinger Thank this.
