@allen731, did you get an answer to your question?
-
Shoot I don't even know where to begin with that trailer.
-
Yes you do. Principles are exactly the same as your trailer.macavoy Thanks this.
-
um ya but that one has 2 friggin kingpins. I would guess center of the 2 kingpins to the center trailer axle.
-
Are scale weights when empty taken into account here at all?
-
I was gonna say, you start with a call to the permit office...
-
Professor Six,
Wouldn't he ignore the truck's kingpin and use the one on the jumper jeep? -
You cant do your best work without them.
No, ignore the jumper. The loading principles apply the same for all trailers. -
I have never been accused of being a smart man but I would also have to say to use the jeeps fifth wheel location. It doesn't look like there is much adjustment on the jeeps setup but on the other side the difference in the weight of the trailer due to the neck being a different dimension from the rest of the trailer should throw the center line of weight off on that trailer. At least it does in my mind. I would venture to say that the center line of the weight would be closer to the back of the trailer instead of the midway point if you were to measure it kingpin to axle. So how close am I?johndeere4020 Thanks this.
