My uncle worked for them in the 90's. He's 80 now and I never miss the chance to hear him tell road stories. The same stories over and over again.

So many good companies went under. I'm not going to start another union debate here, they are frowned upon, and even I have some time vested in the Teamster's, it was the best trucking job I ever had, but it was usually a strike that killed these companies ( that and de-regulation). Wisconsin had a bunch of great trucking company's, Motor Transport, Advance, Glendenning, Gateway, Gross, CW, ForeWay ( we called them Foreplay) all gone.

Are those 2 trucks from the same company? Reason I ask is the only Arrow (and Goldstar) trucks I see are yellow and pretty much only haul chips or lumber here in western Canada.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Yes, they are... here's the 'last leg' of their "evolution" before they shut down. ^^^<<<

If these are the ones you see, it's some sort of a 'recon' to sell some of their fleet; not sure why they use the 'Arrow' name, though.

@Mike2633 yes you are correct. . . they saved those people in quite a Christmas-y way. Kudos to Melton, for that, for sure.
