How to deal with tailgaters

In my pickup, I empty my washer container. In the semi i empty my pee jug lol

 

I HATE tailgaters. No matter what I'm driving. But, there is one that bothers me a lot more than the tailgaters. These are the idiots that come up to a highway, or through road at a stop sign. Or possibly a driveway. There is no traffic coming, but they pull up and stop. THEN JUST SIT THERE for what seems an extended time.
Then, they pull out in front of traffic, making the through traffic take evasive action to keep from hitting them.

 

Its like "WTF man? You just sat there for the last 15 seconds for no reason, you couldn't wait another 5 until I was passed you?"

 

Had a guy tailgating me when we where in the engine, he rear ended us at highway speeds, wish I could have heard the conversation between him and his Insurance...."Yeah I need to file a claim...I was just involved in a rear end collision...Yeah uh I rear ended a fire engine ON the HWY at HWY Speeds" Willing to bet accident insurance wouldn't forgive that

 

There is another reason for tail gating. I clean forgot.

Those of you young ones will not run into this driving a 18 wheeler yet...

If you are on the Richmond Road, say I64 at night, someone comes up behind you and stays there... chances are they are trying to access your unlocked trailer hoping to score something.

I was thinking about this topic and recalled a couple of incidents where this has happened. I would shake em off with a swing of the trailer to one side. CB lights up at this point. The Police is called via the Cell. Then they come and round up the problem and that's that. Just don't stop until you see Mr Law coming for them...

 

for tailgaters i let off the go pedal and let the engine brake/retarder kick in for a few seconds and they end up getting the message. if you drive with your lights off during the day, you can turn them on and it looks like you are braking. another favorite is while it is raining or road is wet, i will move over slightly to get the tires in the wet part of the lane and kick up spray on their windshield. they get the message to back off

 

And if there is no debris on the rumble strips, do it when you hit an overpass. Lots of debris there.
In construction zones, stay close to the cones and when you get to the one thats outta place like in your lane, come up on it then move right slightly. Watch your mirror coz 9 times outta ten the dummy back there following close will nearly collide with it. You get a good chuckle out of it.

 

every once in a while i could hit a cone with the trailer tires and make that cone flip into the lane, you have to hit it just right.

 

Slowly pour a gallon of pee and they back off when it splashes on their windshield.
One time a car was tailgating me and he was probably 15 yards from the back of the trailer or closer. I saw a truck tire still on the rim and it was in the center of the lane. I knew I could clear it with the truck I was driving. He didn't see it at all and it got wedged between his engine compartment and the road.

 

Oh, really? In what parallel universe does that happen in? Not planet Atlanta!
