Marten Transport ***PAY SCALE***

Im with Interstate and they let you choose if you want per diem or not.

 

Yeah, alot of I-5. The main terminal is in Tacoma.

 

Schneider gives you the option. I think all companies have to offer it as an option. If you don't take it, and claim per diem deduction at years end it's a massive amount, and your in for a huge refund.
I think some companies will treat you with prejudice, even force you away if you don't take it.

When i first started with marten in 2008 you had an option to take per diem or not to take it. Then they made it where everybody had to take it.

 

Sounds like a pretty fair pay system to me ( Marten ).
That's what I didn't like about the refer game, the epic detention, unloading times.
I do produce right now, but it's local, statewide, and it's distribution, we have priority unload at the stores.
I do 3 x 53 a day lol. 4 to 6 stops.

But what you have described about Marten's pay is one of the fairest I've heard of.
