Hi all I'm new here. I have been driving dump trailer, lowboy, and tanker for a local company for last 10 years. I have no over the road experience. For a long while now I have wanted to try flat bed I live in East Central Indiana. What are some of the company's to look at. right now tmc is looking like a good fit for me but I want to check them all out.

Builders transportation company out of memphis will take you on. It's flatbed, home weekly, or wheneveryou want really.
Pgt is another flatbed company that would take you on as well. -

No sir, i left after 6 months with them. Had some family issues that i had to handle, plus i was offered a dedicated customer account with pgt trucking. Tmc was good till they started hounding about becoming a trainer with less than a year experiance.
I'm currently with builders and love it here. They will look at your local work as trucking experiance, however you'll have to go through a2 week training program learning the securement side -
If you feel tmc is a good fit for you, then go for it. They are a decent stepping stone to learning flatbed
