But they (companies not on EOBR) might as well be an insignificant minority as they have practically no political clout and it doesn't matter if they significantly outnumber EOBR companies. Pro-EOBR carriers are the majority that counts. That's reality.

Elogs, speed limiters, I think it's time to buy a couple of for sale signs.

No stats to back it up. Just an observation of the trucks i see on the road. I see more swifts and mavericks than i see john smith trucking. Next time you stop for fuel or spend the night in a truck stop walk the lot and see what count you get.

The only way it is less money is if a guy is currently running illegal.

Well no. I was thinking of the revenue side not the cost side. But if a couple hundred dollars a year puts a guy under, i say good riddance, 1 less cheap hauler.

I agree, if the cost is a hardship, or you need to run illegal to make it, adios.

We're supposed to run legal now, on paper. Since they already have cops, and scales, how about they do their dam job. Instead, the answer is, let's force companies to pay for things they don't need because we're (the cops) too incapable of doing our jobs. Sounds brilliant!

We are here at the elogs because paper is to easy to cheat. And way too many of us were. Csa showed that. And to many at fault truck accidents resulting in fatalities made headlines. where after further investigation the cheating became obvious. Not saying i agree or like elogs, but what can ya do? Adapt or get out of the industry.
