Hubby just failed his permit test for the second time and u don't know who's more frustrated him or I. He knows the info but the test question wording keeps messing him up. He just went back to try again. He already has a company lined up but needs to pass this test!
He just can't pass!

If he knows it, tell him to quit getting caught up in the wording and use some common sense.
pigeon river trucking, DTP and Eethomas685 Thank this. -
Which part of it that he is having issues with? I had trouble with the air brakes portion of it. I believe it took me two or three times.
The thing that worked for me was to read it out in the parking lot and then go in and take the test right away while it was fresh in my head.
What state is he testing out of? -
He's testing in NY. He just is having trouble with how the questions are worded
-
How many times a day will they let him retake the portion he has failed?
-
He can take it twice
-
If he failed it twice and he has taken it twice... I think he has to wait a period of time to retake again.
-
Permit for what Class CDL ? What tests is he taking, Airbrakes, general knowledge and Combination (if Class A)?
Which ones is he failing?Last edited: Aug 17, 2016
