$699 a month? For how long? 6 months? Ten years? Sounds like a buy here, pay here pay car lot to me. I would only buy a truck with my own financing, if I couldn't just buy it outright. But for this particular truck....I'd run away, far and fast. Especially for a truck that is loaded with emissions controls with that kind of mileage.

Sounds like a nice truck and payment is cheap but those dang emissions!
Also in that milage range where if it's a fleet truck it may need an overhaul soon .
Isx's known for bad cams and they arnt cheap.

Has the motor been rebuilt? 700k miles is really close to rebuild time, and with that motor, I'd wager it would be far more than you could afford (emissions tech and all). Even if we assume the truck is $20,000, that's at least two years of payments on a truck that could very easily only last another 12-14 months (and that's assuming those are trouble free months).

Unless you want to run CA, go older and cheaper. Even if it has to be a crappier looking truck. At least you'll be making money.

I don't want rain on ya cause it sounds like a nice truck but most fleets do minimum maintenance on their trucks and dump em by 500k .
Last truck I turned into van wyks was an 08 485 hp isx with 450k on it and was drinking oil ..non stop problems with the turbo etc and went to soiux falls needing an overhaul .
Sorry to say but I'd pass pal .

At least do a rig dig on it and find out who its owner's were ..and if it was a big fleet and it's never been overhauled ..run !
