My truck never gets sleepy, tired, or fatigued but she has other personality quirks that must be dealt with and/or overlooked. We had a big argument just a few minutes before my 11 was up but talked through it and everything thing is fine now and nobody went to bed mad.
Tired truck, decides to lay down and take a nap.

That's good, never go to bed and leave your lady angry... You're too vulnerable when you're asleep! She might just decide to take off on her own, and go in the opposite direction she knows you need to go!mjd4277, Dave_in_AZ, LindaPV and 2 others Thank this.

Been there done that. I had a truck many years ago that was an overly "self-motivated" type. I can't count how many times I woke 50-150 miles further down the road from where I remember starting my 10. We had lots of great times though. I miss her and those times.

See, you had one of them "autonomous" trucks and you didn't even know it. Ahead of the times.
That wreck is odd though. Driver complained of steering troubles, but look at the shoulder. A long black streak that leads up to his passenger side tire and alot of long white scratched on the shoulder.... don't think he laid it over and it slid off the shoulder so something must have been dragged all that way. -
Bet it had melons on it.
mjd4277, dngrous_dime, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -
something on that right front broke off and the wheel turned sideways

That was X #2. Towards the end, I used to tell a friend of mine I had a 50/50 chance of waking up with a pair of scissors in my chest.tucker Thanks this.

Not unless they keep Freightliner Columbias hidden somewhere-which that model is. CRE has been buying up Cascadia and Western Star 5700XE models like crazy.

If you factor in the two belts for both front seats (driver and passenger) and then the two BUNK RESTRAINTS for both the upper and lower sleeper bunks( if equipped),that makes four I guess.Big Don Thanks this.
