Kalil Bottling Co. They have an office in Phx and in Tucson. Not sure where else. They haul drinks to stores and merchandisers merchandise that stuff.

 

But it's not Pepsi right? There's no way in the world Pepsi would give someone 10 stores to packout. What products do you carry?

 

Low man or relief driver (we call them jumpers) shouldn't mean anything. Everyone gets paid the same. If you run a route you get base pay plus commission plus OT plus shells- if you're bulk you're hourly- if you're just picking up shells you're hourly (but less than bulk) and if you have to pack out you're hourly (shell rate usually).

 

Lol. That sucks. But I guess if they have to cut (cuts are everywhere) that's not a bad place to cut. Better than charging you for health insurance I guess.

 

No. They cary RC Cola. A&W. Root Beer, Welchs Grape. Also, Monster and Vitamin Water. etc.

 

Yeah. They don't pay yours? How does that work? We have group insurance. I can add as many people as i want (family members of course) and it doesn't cost anything.

I work for an independent plant..I used to work at PepsiCo...but I left because it wasn't worth it. Pepsico has turned it into a job- versus a career. Charging for health insurance, no pension, not contributing to 401k etc etc.

Didn't used to be that way at Pepsi. Used to be a GREAT career and an awesome living for your family
