At least yours is all hand stacked I have to deal with the pallets and plastic wrap.

 

Our Maryland warehouse is pallet loaded same thing pallets and shrink wrap. OMG I feel your pain.

 

I know we hired a Deonte about a month ago, but I don't think I've ran across him yet.

 

I gave him my employee number as a reference he was a Swift driver I guess before coming to GFS. He sounds like an alright guy. Guess he can do the work.

 

Alright kids, I'm off to the races. I've got to get up about 10:45pm for work today so I'm going to get some shut eye right now for a while. Working tonight and into the morning, running out of the warehouse all week, but there going to try and keep me at home and not in a hotel, which is cool with me. Anyhow busy weekend here at Mikes used cars. I owned 4 cars 2 are sold. 1 is for sale and another I'm leasing I guess to a friend. Would have rather sold it out right, but that's how it goes.

Anyhow bought a new to me car working with Kansas Transit for a shipping quote if he can do it I'll have him ship it from Los Angeles where it's located. Anyhow I have work today in the middle of the night I'll see you guys tomorrow. All of y'all have a good one till tomorrow.

 

No easy money for me tomorrow. I think I'll take a kid fishing.

 

Just got a call I guess the combined some routes was asked to stay home but I bumped a lower seniority driver gonna be a long day I'm guessing.... owell I'm paid by the hour is how I look at it.

 

Is every US different? Do some get piece work and others get hourly? Just wondering.

 

Yes some divisions get paid performance pay some are paid hourly I'm straight hourly

 

Ended up working a shade under 68 hours this past week. Glad when that one was finally over.
