Saved From Scrap

Its a dry heat here. Not sure what 27C is in F but I do know that's too hot to work in for fun.

 

Boy I sound like a wuss now. In my defence I'm more accustomed to 15C to -40C lol.

 

I finished up sanding the paint from the back wall. Still need to hand sand around the rivets and there's a few areas where I need to go into the aluminum a bit as the aluminum was a bit powdery under the paint. I'm going to take the doors off and do them seperate. Not going to touch the fibreglass roof until just before I take it in for primer as I've been told UV rays are extremely hard on fibreglass. Pictures won't upload for some reason.

 

Ripped out the floor. 3/4" plywood and it must've been original because it was rotten to the core in a few spots.

Gutted out the passenger door too.

 

Steam cleaned out the inside of the cab. Looks like I get to test out my metalworking skills. Floor and firewall are rotten through in a few spots on the passenger side.
