Ok, probably a dumb question but...
Let's say I have an oppointment at a shipper @ 6am.
Is this their time, my time or the home office time ?
Also because I'm driving, changing time zones, would I be better off with my Apple Watch ( which will change times zones automatically ) as opposed to my traditional watch ?
Thanks
Which watch...

Time zone wherever the shipper is

Yup. Typical time is given using "local time" for wherever you are expected to be at that time. When keeping a log book, though, it gets frustrating relying upon a clock that automatically updates whenever you enter a new time zone. Personally, if my truck didn't have a clock in it, I'd wear a regular old fashion watch. Cell phone just gets to be too much of a hassle guessing whether or not it has updated yet and how many hours to add/subtract to get to the proper log book time.

Remember to adjust for that from say... Illinois to Ohio.

It's actually Indiana when you change from Central to Eastern.

This. Sometimes you lose an hour and sometimes you get to sleep in. Hooray!
If you're like me, daylight savings time happens a couple times a week. -
One reason I'm happy that 97% of my driving is done EST.
And I wear a cheap watch, but my PeopleNet always displays terminal time, and my GPS always displays local time, as well as my cellphone on local time. -
How much did you pay for that Apple watch, just out of curiosity?

But 9 counties in Indiana are on Central time, the rest on Eastern.
I always wear a wrist watchLindaPV, Starboyjim and Longarm Thank this. -
