Update: I was getting cheap load going up North to WA. I been trying to find little more than $2.30 on the outbound. I called shippers, but they just want quantity in equipment. No action for one truck show. Thanks guys for your help.

I am averaging $1.80-$2.00 round trip now. Thanks

WA outbound should be starting to pay well now -- enjoy it for the next couple months then go back to $1...

Yup! Management is starting to help me out. I pay myself like a company driver and try to save enough for the company as well. The fluctuation in rates is imperative to know. Oregon tax hurts though. Any tricks on that?
-
I don't have any help on Oregon -- in fact I just used up all my temporary permits and they are requiring me to file a bond with them -- I still haven't decided whether I'll cancel my OR account or give them the $2,000...

Longview is paper products isn't it?
