Failed Road Skills Test Today

i live on long island and tested in hicksville , took 7 individual classes and tried
my pre trip passed, my road skills need work, i came away knowing ill be a lot more relaxed.
my nerves where shot , i couldnt be calm which left me shell shocked with blinders and not calling out road hazards
i whiteknuckled the driving part, all in all im confident after today knowing i can and will do it
they dont have you look under the hood,its one railroad crossing,no incline, 

 

What part of the road test did you fail?

the memories i had, i was rusty just like u mate.. dnt worry, failing is part of the process, eventually u gonna get it and be as professional as me.. just practice, if u hve time on your hands, practice! practice ! practice! thats all i did when i was the salt lake city yard at cr england, i perfected my skills to pass everything, while being tested in manuel transmission truck. was not easy since it was first time. be proud that u failed, we are not perfect..

 

i rescheduled it my next date is sept 31

OP, are you still able to run through the gears and shift ok when accelerating? Is it just the initial takeoff after a stop that was the issue?

 

i was refering to the dmv examiner not having me inspect under the hood while doing the pre trip
