As far as them taking too much; have you considered the liability they have, plus all the benefits they extend to the owner operators and Affiliate owners? The 38% they keep is a fair deal for everything it covers; plus the 62% I get is much better than $2 per mile, and my fuel cost is stabilized at $1.25 per gallon. -

Just because one turns in a truck.. That doesn't mean it's failure. Db failed me.. They lied, and then played games afterwards. Couldn't prove the work they said they put into the truck.. Made me out to be an idiot when I told them exactly what was wrong with the truck.. Then after they said they would fix everything on the truck.. Sent me a bill for 6500 bucks after I gave it back and bought my own..
Don't buy into the bs, qc pulls hazmat for cut rates, and db sells worn out trucks with fancy paint jobs.ChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
I still have my truck, I make a great living, and QC has been top notch all the way.Loke Thanks this. -
I have been in this business for 15years. 14 of which and owner op in my own truck. Not a lease... You need to put down the db Crack pipe. They have and obviously still do stir crap to keep you guys snow balled. -
While you are looking for dirt.. I'll say this, I spent 4 months in a lease truck for aa express.I left to be home every week or 10 days and drive a fancy truck like Db sells everyone on the phone.. 8 months I stuck it out. The first 45 days I made good money, then every month afterwards it got gradually worse.
I was sold a 150k truck that was stated in emails (I still have) as having full drive train warranty. 6 month into this truck, the clutch is going out. I call and get told the only warranty left is on the engine, rest went out 9 days after you left db kustom trucks.
Instead of fixing the truck, I told them straight up to show me event hey did to this truck.. 8 weeks it took to get a receipt for the engine. And then a hand written receipt for a rebearing on the Trans and rear ends.. Nothing they said stood up. The finance company decided to up the payments per week after myself and another driver signed and left with the truck.. They did nothing, just offered me a 500 buck shop credit to let it go.
I went to qc specifically for a loaded out show truck. What I got was a scam to fill seats. And since I left, I have made my share of profit, and not had an issue with managing or running my business. If you check that reveiws page.. Alot of guys have moved forward with their business.
Will you be successful.. I don't doubt that. But to condemn and state that other who left failed... Thats just a crock of crap sir. Enjoy recruiting here, I wouldn't have even responded to this post had I not received a notification.
I'm out, got money to make.. -

For the record ladies and gentlemen,
I do not believe I have over hyped DB Kustoms, Keys to Quality, or any other truck sales lot. I do have a DB truck and Dan and Dave Brown or OK dudes in my book. Like all the others; after a month or two I do not really talk to them as much anymore. You eventually find you're own way, along with finding other drivers and terminal personnel to talk to; mainly because the later is in this with you every day. I have always stated I am more then happy to help anyone, and all the QC guys I associate with are the same way. Like I have said before the successful ones, here at QC, do not want to see anyone fail or get left behind.
I will do my best to post updates and how I am doing. Which I lacked at, plus the Debbie downers keep honing in and cheering on the negativity; and I separate myself from that.
Yes I love it here at QC, and QC has been good to me and my family. You choose your destiny here; if you are coming over as an O/O or L/P. If you are not, then you are doing something wrong or you need to switch terminals. You choose your own terminal. With my terminal in Joliet - the company drivers even choose their own destiny. Our terminal owner allows his company drivers to choose what they want to do, and he owns 8 trucks. If you are pulling cheap loads, which I have not seen any yet, then you are the one who chose to pull that load.
The struggles are real at the beginning, mainly because you are learning something new. The beginning is where it important to find good people to become friends with. Once you get your groove and figure out what you want to do, it gets easier. I am a positive magnet, and I find my way to the people who are having fun and making money. I am a clown, a friend to all, and I love money, so if I can not have fun and make money - there would be no point.BullJockey, stormy379, RERM and 2 others Thank this.
