Their is no doubt unforeseen circumstance can and do happen; that has not been my point. Nor is my point, that any pre/post trip solves all problems.
As far as taking the OP side, I don't know if he has a side? What he does have is a crapy story. And if he is asking to be put in anybodies truck after just destroying one truck with the potential to have destroyed a whole heck of a lot more, he better have a #### good story why it happened. He opened the post looking for a job after rolling a truck, he aught to expect here, as well as any job interview a #### good explanation of what happened to cause this disaster and why he should be trusted in a truck.
If I sat in with him in a interview and had to wait to the equivelent of 8 pages to get an answer to that golden question that got him there in the first place, and then heard BS about some suspension part that I know doesn't likely exist on his truck, I would be furious. But here I just have a little fun with it. -
OMG the AG200. Blah! I still have bad dreams about the clunking noises that thing used to make. I upgraded to the AG400 before something really bad happened and never looked back.

Truth. Mine used to clunk with every shift, no matter how smooth. Any time I let off the throttle and got back on it. That's all gone now. Feels so much better. And it's one less thing I have to worry about.

It appears the op's story is probably not exactly what actually happened. Anyone that had that situation would have had pictures to prove it.

Actually, those years piloting a worn out AG200 is probably the reason I have a feather light and butter smooth right foot today...... trying to stop the clunk
